How to Install HomeIPTV on
Android TV & Phones
Follow this quick guide to install our dedicated IPTV app on your Android Smart TV, Android Box, Smartphone, or Tablet. Get up and running directly from the Google Play Store.
Step-by-Step Installation
Because Android connects directly to the Google Play Store, setting up your IPTV app takes less than 3 minutes.
Download an IPTV Player
Unlike Firesticks, you don't need any special downloader apps. Simply use the Google Play Store on your TV or Phone.
Search for a trusted IPTV player. We highly recommend HOT Player , IPTV Smarters Pro, XCIPTV, or TiviMate. Click Install.
- Press the Home button on your Android TV remote or Phone.
- Find and open the Google Play Store app.
- Navigate to the Search bar (usually a magnifying glass icon).
- Type in "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "XCIPTV".
- Select the app from the search results and click Install.
Launch & Grant Permissions
Once installed, click Open to launch the app for the first time.
The app will ask for permission to access photos, media, and files on your device. You must click Allow so the app can save your channel playlist data locally.
- Click Open directly from the Play Store, or find the new app icon on your Home screen.
- When the permissions pop-up appears, select Allow.
- If prompted, agree to the app's Terms of Service by clicking Accept.
- If the app asks what device you are using, select TV (if using an Android TV) or Mobile (if on a phone).
Enter Your Credentials
On the main screen of the app, you will see a few login options. Always select "Login with Xtream Codes API".
You will see four blank boxes. Enter the exact Username, Password, and Portal URL we sent to your email after your purchase.
- Any Name: Type "HomeIPTV" or whatever you want to name this playlist.
- Username: Type the exact username provided in your welcome email.
- Password: Type the exact password from your email (Passwords are case-sensitive).
- URL: Enter the exact Portal URL provided in your email (Ensure you include the `http://` at the beginning).
Download Channels & Enjoy
Once your details are entered, click Add User or Login. The app will take a few seconds to connect to our servers and download your channels, movies, and series.
When the download is complete, click on your profile and start enjoying premium 4K streaming!
Pro Tips for Android
Clear App Cache
If your Android TV starts to buffer, the memory might be full. Go to your Android Settings > Apps > See all apps, select your IPTV player, and click Clear Cache.
Keep the App Updated
Developers frequently release updates to fix bugs and improve streaming quality. Open the Google Play Store occasionally to ensure your IPTV app is on the latest version.
Use a VPN (Optional)
If your Internet Provider (ISP) throttles IPTV traffic during peak hours, connecting to a VPN will secure your connection and guarantee a buffer-free stream.
