Step-by-Step Installation
Don't worry if you aren't tech-savvy. Just follow these exact steps and you'll be streaming in under 5 minutes.
Get the Downloader App
To install third-party apps like our IPTV player, we need an app called Downloader.
From your Firestick home screen, click on Find, then select Search. Type in "Downloader". Select the official orange app that appears and click Download/Get.
- Go to the very top menu of your Firestick Home screen.
- Hover over the Find icon (it looks like a magnifying glass).
- Click on the Search bar below it.
- Use your remote to type the word Downloader.
- Select "Downloader" from the list of suggestions that drops down.
- Click on the big orange icon with a download arrow.
- Click the Download or Get button to install it to your device.
Enable Unknown Sources
Before using Downloader, you must allow your Firestick to install outside apps.
Go to your Firestick Settings. Click on My Fire TV, then select Developer Options. Click on Install Unknown Apps and turn it ON for Downloader.
Missing Developer Options? Amazon hides this on new updates. To reveal it, go to Settings > My Fire TV > About. Highlight the name of your device and click the middle button on your remote 7 times rapidly.
- Press the Home button on your remote.
- Scroll to the far right to highlight the Settings icon (the gear).
- Scroll down and click the box that says My Fire TV.
- Click on Developer Options.
- Click on Install Unknown Apps.
- Find "Downloader" in the list and click the middle button on your remote to change it to ON.
Download HOT Player
Open the Downloader app you just installed. If it asks for permission to access files, click Allow.
Click the URL bar to open the keyboard. Type in the exact code 395800, and click Go to download HOT Player.
- Go back to your Firestick Home screen and find your Apps list.
- Click to open the orange Downloader app.
- A prompt will ask for permission to access photos, media, and files. You MUST click Allow for this to work.
- Click "OK" on the Quick Start Guide popup.
- Use your remote to click on the URL text box in the very center of the screen.
- Type the exact code 395800.
- Click Go. The HOT Player APK file will start downloading.
- When it finishes, an installation window will automatically pop up. Click Install.
Activate & Log In
Open HOT Player. Note down the MAC Address and Device Key displayed on your screen to activate the app.
Next, select Add Playlist, click Xtream Codes API, and carefully type in the Username, Password, and Server URL we sent to your email.
- After clicking Install in the previous step, click Open to launch HOT Player.
- Write down the MAC Address and Device Key on the screen (you will use these to activate the app's lifetime license).
- Click on Add Playlist and select Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Any Name: Type "HomeIPTV" or any name you prefer.
- Username: Enter the exact username provided in your confirmation email.

Pro Tips for Firestick
Clear App Cache
If the app feels slow or channels buffer, your cache might be full. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications, select the IPTV app, and click Clear Cache.
Disable Data Monitoring
Amazon tracks background data, which uses up your bandwidth. Go to Settings > Preferences > Data Monitoring and turn it OFF to improve streaming speeds.
Use a VPN (Optional)
If your Internet Provider (ISP) throttles IPTV traffic during big matches, connecting to a VPN will mask your connection and guarantee a buffer-free stream.
